Why do Jade retain production in-house?

At Jade we believe that any disadvantages of offering a production based Managed Print service are far out weighed by the increased control, expertise and consistency it brings. Our business is print and has been for over 30 years and thus we have a wealth of experience and a personal interest in providing exceptional print. The retention of the vast majority of processes in-house provides control over costs and timescales and the ability to monitor and address any problems as quickly as possible. This means that we 'own' all processes and deliver on time and on budget and creates a consistency of service and product which allows us to deliver our quality guarantee.

What type of organisations benefit from using Jade?

Print Management was initially a service provided for large national and multi-national companies but the philosophy of Jade Managed Print is that the same principles can be applied to small to medium businesses with the same benefits. Typically Jade Managed Print is of maximum benefit to an organisation with several sites, depots or offices as this is when the benefits of consolidation and centralisation are greatest. The print spend of our current customers varies greatly from £30000 to £500000 per annum and the proportion of savings is similar across them.

How do I know if I will benefit from using Jade?

It is fundamental to our offering that we work with organisations where we will be able to make a difference and therefore we offer a no obligation audit which will allow both parties to assess the possibility of a mutually beneficial relationship. The exact amount of money saved varies between clients depending on their specific needs and the previous setup but the saving can be in the region of 25%. Aside from the direct cost savings there are indirect cost savings and various benefits which will directly and indirectly impact on the bottom line of the business.

Do I have to use the complete service?

The benefits and savings of the service are increased when the complete service offering is used for all of the print needs of an organisation. But when organisations have chosen to only use some aspects or have been unable to use the service for all their print needs they have still received considerable benefits.

Can you work with my existing designers?

We are more than happy to work with your current design team. Many of our existing print customers are designers and agencies and we work hand in hand on large projects.

Alternatively we have a team of enthusiastic designers and a state of the art studio to offer anything from a full corporate re-design to simple alterations to existing artwork. This facility can turn ideas into reality and make printed materials more effective.

Can you adapt to my specific requirements?

To date we have met every request asked of us to seamlessly integrate with existing systems, suppliers and work practices. This has included a bespoke computer solution to strip literature orders from a customer's in-house system, taking on board a customer's existing carriers and stocking and distributing the most unexpected items.

What information will be available to me?

The information you receive is based on the level and type of information you require. Based on the specific nature and needs of your organisation an assessment will be made to ensure that you don't get bombarded with irrelevant information but have the right degree and type of information to be able to make decisions. If at any time there is any other information you require then this can be arranged based on your specific needs. The type of invoicing used will also be based on your needs.

How much control can I retain?

One of the main indicators of a good Managed Print service is that it takes the responsibility and hassle away but not the control. The Jade service can be tailored to provide the level and type of control that you want. This can include specifying that certain products can be bought in agreed quantities by authorised personnel/branches, set arrangements for the ordering of new products and restrictions on delivery options.

Is the service nationwide?

Our geographical position means that we are ideally located for a wide range of locations throughout the country. We currently service sites from Stirling to Brighton and Torquay to Ireland. However given the current technology we utilise proximity is becoming less important. Files can be transferred electronically for the purposes of data transfer and remote proofing and Intrinsic, our e-procurement system, means that ordering, report generating and stock monitoring can be done wherever you are and whenever you want. Our dedication to building a personal relationship with our Managed Print clients means that we hold regular on-site review meetings and will visit any location as required. And of course our base in Leeds does mean that you are dealing with straightforward Yorkshire folk!

What if the service I require is less comprehensive?

Jade are fully equipped to produce a range of printed products on a one-off or ad-hoc basis. The level of service and product is consistently high for all our customers and thus Jade are an ideal choice for one-off non-stocked items at competitive prices.

Does Jade have the capability to produce any printed item I may require?

The product list at Jade is dictated by the customers' needs and thus we make every attempt to meet your requirements. Whilst we are able to print virtually any job in-house we have an approved supplier base to supply those more unusual items that you request, such as clothing, promotional items, point of sale and an extensive range of recycled merchandise. If it is possible to print something then we can arrange it for you! As with products produced in-house the Quality Guarantee still applies and you will still get the usual hassle free Jade service.
