23/3/09Chain of Custody PEFC and FSC

Jade recently underwent a full day of auditing to assess whether our systems met the stringent requirements for FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody certification.

We are pleased to say the day was a complete success with the external assessor recommending Jade's inclusion.

This will ensure we can continue to meet our responsibilities and commitment to our Green issues. We hope to have a our certifacte numbers within the next couple of weeks.

The ability to track a sheet of paper, right back to the tree it was sourced from, involves every process and company in the chain keeping detailed records - but also allows responsible harvesting of the raw materials needed to manufacture print and to be replaced for the future needs of the industry.
